Biba baby

Yesterday, whilst getting my lunchtime shopping fix, I was taking a stroll around House of Fraser (which is currently having a sale), when I came across a Biba cross-body bag which I fell in love with, I walked away and went up a level and there it was, staring me right in the face- that's the perfect sign for me to make a purchase. Believe it or not I only came across the Biba brand last year when I bought a gorgeous camel coat with faux fur collar (Caggie Dunlop was my inspiration), since then I have bought a huge cream bag (which will be coming back out to play when the sun makes an appearance) and my little beauty that I couldn't resist yesterday. Today, I was off work, so when I woke up feeling as fresh as a daisy I thought what better way to spend my day than shopping! I originally went on the hunt for a bedroom lamp but I ended up having a splurge on a PACHA kaftan in River Island and treating my mum to some lunch in Westfield. River Island have a fab range of PACHA clothing. I definitely need to visit Ibiza before I hit 30, but for now, it's just Ibiza style. x

This season is going all flapper dapper on us. Kara Tointon was recently pictured in a gorgeous 20's flapper dress which I loved. These dresses are perfect for a party or an evening out with the girls, pair them with some strappy sandals or round toed t-bar shoes for the complete 20's look.

Alternative fashion week

This week I was lucky enough to have been involved in Alternative Fashion Week at Spitafields London. On Thursday there was one designer there called Francisco Sanchez-Canete that really stood out for me, he had the most amazing models and when all their hair and make up was finished and they had their outfits they all looked like models for a high end designer. He was my personal favourite of the day. Friday was a mix of colleges and individual designers showing their collections, from high end clothes, to punk, to theatrical costumes. My favourite on that day was a designer called Sophie Mason, although she only showed three outfits, they were all beautifully made and looked very luxurious and expensive, she showed a stone coloured mac which reminded me of one of the Burberry macs in their recent ad campaign, there was a printed mid-calf length dress which looked beautiful on and a white shirt with a silk bolero attached which I loved. The atmosphere was very exciting and seeing the girls transform from their casual attire and make up free on into these beautiful models with perfect hair, make up and gorgeous clothes was amazing. I can't wait to go back there next year. Hold tight for some pics (which I'm trying to get from some photographers that were papping away on the days I was there).

Gossip Girl

So, I have just started watching gossip girl, a bit late I know (well a few years late), but so far so good and Blake Lively aka known as Serena van der Woodsen and leighton meester aka known as Blair Waldorf are super stylish and I can see me getting hooked very quickly!! I'd say this is the new SATC and  I'm already addicted to their style! In the style of gossip girl XOXO

You might already know that I often feature items on here from the NET-A-PORTER site that I can only dream of owning. All I can do is admire these beautiful garments....well up until now that is! The other day I came across NET-A-PORTER's sister site called THE OUTNET, I don't think I've ever been so excited in my entire life. They have lots and lots of beautiful things on there at discount prices, although the first thing I spotted was a jacket that was almost £5000 but there are so many other things on there within my price range. Jackie O so stylish!

Whilst in Berlin, we came across a Kennedy museum, I've always been interested in JFK and Jackie K.
I'm always reading books, articles and looking at piccies of JFK and Jackie (I have always been drawn to her fabulous style). I even used to tell people I was named after her when I was younger (which was a little fib). It was so interesting to see some unseen photos, letters and items belonging to them both. I was fascinated with Jackie's unique style and how she always managed to look effortlessly chic in her Chanel suits and pill box hats.
