You will go to the ball...

Last night the stars of tinsel town were out in force in some gorgeous frocks. It looks like blue was the favourite colour this year, so many stars wore the colour, from sky blue to a midnight navy. I think the best dressed was Heidi Klum and Sofia Vergara, they both looked stunning in their gowns.

Alice in Wonderland

This week anyone who is anyone is at the shows of London Fashion week. So far this week we have seen Burberry, Matthew Williamson, Nicole Farhi and Paul Smith just to name a few but so far my favourite has been Alice Temperley's collection. Her SS13 collection is ultra girly and ladylike and has a bit of old school glamour about it. The full prom skirt and dress will definitely be on my 2013 wish list, best get saving.

Indian delight

Matthew Williamson's S/S13 collection was inspired by India, much like his first collection 15yrs ago. This year there's lots of bright colours and tie dye dresses. I love it all. One of everything please!

Fake it until you make it

It seems freckles, tie die and marble nails are all the rage at London fashion week this year.

This means business

The lady herself- Karren Brady

I am half way through Karren Brady's autobiography and I must say I am extremely inspired by her. She came from very humble beginnings and I can honestly say I am a bit similar to her, although I didn't start off at 18 wanting to take over the world of business, I have always been passionate about my career and love of fashion and have always wanted to make something of myself. Here are some other business women that are truly inspirational

Tyra banks

She has gone from Victoria's Secret model (which is an amazing achievement in it's self) to business woman; presenting America's next top model with acting roles and a qualification from Harvard under her belt.

Elle McPherson

This gorgeous lady started out as a model in the 80's, she went on to produce a lingerie line, a beauty
range and then went onto present Britain and Ireland's next top model as well as being a mummy.

Kelly Cutrone

Kelly founded the Peoples revolution PR company in the USA  in 1996 and has lots of very high profile artists on her books such as Vivienne Westwood , Paco Rabanne and Longchamp. She is also a best selling author for the New York Times. I think she is great because of her honesty and what she achieved at such a young age.

Stella McCartney

As you will see from my previous posts on this amazing designer, she is my fave! Instead of living off of her dads fame and fortune she went to Central St Martins and graduated with an amazing fashion show and achieved the title as one of the most prestigious designers of our time. She has done amazing things for Chloe, designing pieces for Adidas and now created the Olympic kit- she is an inspiration to anyone.

Coco Chanel

Coco Chanel is probably the most famous fashion designer in the world. She designed pieces that are timeless and paved the way for other designers. She revolutionised the way women dressed when she was surrounded by male designers such as Dior and Balenciaga. An inspiration to any woman.

Queen of our hearts

All eyes are on Kate Middleton at the minute whilst she's on a royal visit to Singapore. Her classic style and beauty is always perfect and it seems she can't put a fashion foot wrong. Here are some pictures of her gorgeous style from 2012.
